Andrew Twiss has been dancing almost all of his life. With 20 years of tap, 10 years of Lindy hop and a broad base of social and performance styles of dance, Andrew's abilities on the dance floor are immeasurable. In his years in Chicago as a Lindy Hop instructor, he has taught with the 4 most influential groups: The Chicago Swing 1/2 Breeds, Swing-Out Chicago, Blue Moon Groove and now exclusively with Big City Swing. His students have included many current teachers and advanced dancers including Joel Plys way back when.
Partnered for the last 4 years with Evin Galang, Andrew has made a national name for himself, gaining fans all over the United States, and with an International stint in 2004, in Europe as well. Andrew's unparalleled musicality and creativity can be seen in his improvisational, strictly social dancing and in his outstanding original choreography.
Whether it's at home in Chicago or out trotting the globe, a dance with Andrew is never forgotten and always a treat!
