Evin Galang spent her life in the theatre learning skills in every aspect of movement and expression (as can be referenced in her really bizarro analogy using mime class...) So it was a natural when Evin began dancing lindy hop, the quintessential expressive social dance. In 1997, after becoming smitten with Noah Galang at the Historic Green Mill in Chicago, Evin and Noah made their mark on the world by impressing their peers and students with their enthusiasm, skill and communicative teaching approach. Traveling all around the United States, they gained a national following as well.

As Noah decided to teach less and less, Evin formed Blue Moon Groove, one of the most respected Lindy Hop studios in Chicagoland. With her new partners, Jason Balutan and Andrew Twiss over 5,000 students circulated through the doors of BMG. Staying involved in the community and working closely with up and coming talent, Evin has retained a loyal tie both to and from the swing community.

Now, teaching with the esteemed group Big City Swing and devoting all of her dance to Andrew, Evin is able to focus just on the creative aspect (what she likes best) of dancing.
